Drug Arrest in Sufur

The army leadership - Directorate of Guidance announced today, Sunday, in a statement that "on 4/6/2023, following information received by the Directorate of Intelligence about the transfer of a wanted person in a vehicle from the Bekaa region to Beirut to transport a quantity of packaged drugs prepared for export abroad, a patrol from the directorate managed to seize the vehicle in the town of Sufur – Aley. It was found that it contained 450 kg of cannabis." The directorate indicated that "the seized items have been handed over and follow-up efforts are underway to arrest those involved."
