Depositor Hani Al-Andari surrendered to the security forces after hours of storming the Bank of Beirut and the Arab Countries branch in Hama. He demanded access to his deposit due to his son being in the hospital. The bank refused to give him even a portion of the deposit. Security forces arrived at the scene amidst a crowd of citizens supporting depositor Al-Andari from the town of Falougha in the upper Metn.
There was also an incursion at a bank in Tyre by depositor Taan Al-Hajj, who is demanding the retrieval of his deposit, threatening to set the branch on fire.
