Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi warned today, during a global summit in Paris, about the influx of immigrants from Africa to Europe "if they find no opportunities for life." Sisi stated, "If people in Africa do not find hope and opportunities for life, they will move towards Europe," adding that Egypt hosts 9 million people. He mentioned that more than 27,000 individuals have drowned in attempts to migrate illegally from Africa to Europe over the past 10 years. The Egyptian president emphasized that there is a "moral and political responsibility" on wealthy and advanced countries towards other nations, noting that "leadership is a responsibility for advanced countries."
