In Russia: Wildfires and Floods Kill 3 People

Russian news agencies "Tass" reported on Thursday that at least two people died in floods that swept through southern Russia, and a woman died due to a wildfire in the Ural region. The agency stated that "the bodies of a woman and a young man were discovered this morning as floodwaters receded in the coastal city of Tuapse on the Black Sea." It added that "wildfires spread rapidly on Wednesday due to dry and windy weather, damaging 41 houses. Two people were hospitalized after sustaining burns."
