Fans of the "Harry Potter" film series will soon be able to wield wands, wear robes, and immerse themselves in the world of the young wizard at a new amusement park scheduled to open in Tokyo on Friday. Warner Bros. Studio Tokyo features several iconic locations from the "Harry Potter" films, such as Diagon Alley and the Ministry of Magic. Torben Jensen, Vice President and General Manager of Warner Bros. Studio Tokyo, stated, "The location near the Japanese capital is ideal, especially with global tourism recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic." Jensen added in remarks to the media during a tour of the park: "As the first edition in Asia, and with increasing visitors coming to Japan, we will be at the heart of the regional market." Ticket prices for adults are 6,300 yen (approximately $45), and Jensen noted they sold out in August.
