France and Germany indicated today, Saturday, that French President Emmanuel Macron has postponed an official visit to Germany that was scheduled to begin tomorrow, Sunday, amid the unrest currently sweeping through France. A spokesperson for German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier stated: "Macron spoke by phone with the president today and informed him about the situation." He added: "President Macron requested the postponement of the planned state visit to Germany."
