Russia Requests UN Security Council Meeting on Nord Stream Explosions

Russian Deputy Ambassador to the United Nations Dmitry Polyanskiy noted today, Saturday, that "Russia has requested a new meeting of the Security Council on July 11 to discuss the explosions of the Nord Stream pipeline that occurred in September." Polyanskiy stated, "We have requested to hold a new open meeting of the United Nations Security Council regarding the Nord Stream explosions." Russia was unable to push the Security Council in March to request an independent investigation.
