Title: Minister Hamiye: Transit Fees with Syria Reduced by 50%

Minister of Public Works and Transport in the caretaker government, Ali Hamiye, announced today that "the meetings and discussions over the past period with the Syrian side culminated in receiving an official letter from the Syrian government regarding the reduction of transit fees for Lebanese trucks by 50% on agricultural products of Lebanese origin, along with some Syrian technical demands that will be addressed starting next week."
