World Bank President Ajay Banga, on the sidelines of a G20 meeting in Gandhinagar, India today, noted that "the global economy is going through a difficult phase, but it is unlikely to stay that way." Banga stated, "It is true that its performance has exceeded everyone's expectations, but this does not mean that there will not be more challenges ahead." He said, "We can change the fate, and that is what we should be thinking about now."
