The Russian news agency reported today, quoting the Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Nikolai Patrushev, that Ukraine has launched more than 70 drone attacks on the Crimean Peninsula this year, as well as carrying out attacks in the Krasnodar and Rostov regions in southern Russia. The agency reported Patrushev’s statements at a meeting concerning security in Krasnodar, southern Russia, stating, "The targets are often the infrastructure of the industrial and energy sectors, and their destruction or damage threatens peaceful living and harms human health." Russia seized Crimea from Ukraine and unilaterally annexed it in 2014, a move that has not received international recognition. Kyiv demands its return by Moscow.
