Japan and Saudi Arabia Seek Joint Investments in Rare Earth Minerals

The Nikkei newspaper reported today that Japan and Saudi Arabia are seeking joint investments in the field of rare earth minerals. It is expected that Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman will sign an agreement on Sunday for a joint investment to develop rare earth mineral resources. Japan will assist in accelerating the development of resources that are already being mined in Saudi Arabia, such as copper, iron, and zinc.
