Turkey's Trade Deficit Rises to $12.5 Billion in May

Data from the Turkish Statistical Institute revealed today, Friday, that "the foreign trade deficit reached $12.527 billion in May, an increase of 17.6% compared to last year." The data indicated that "Turkey's exports rose by 14.4% to $21.66 billion in May, while imports increased by 15.5% to $34.19 billion."
