Pakistani Prime Minister Orders Arrests of Violence Participants

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif ordered the authorities today, Saturday, to identify and arrest all participants in the violent acts that followed the arrest of former Prime Minister Imran Khan last week, which led to unrest resulting in fatalities. Khan, who is expected to address his supporters online later today, welcomed the court's order for his release on bail yesterday, stating that the judiciary is the only safeguard for Pakistan against "the law of the jungle." He added, "I must say that I expected this from the judiciary, as it is the only hope left now."
