Jihad Baqaradoni Named Honorary President of Al-Hekmeh Club

The Lebanese Al-Hekmeh Club announced the appointment of Jihad Baqaradoni as the new honorary president, succeeding former Minister Ghassan Hasbani, during a press conference held at its headquarters in Ashrafieh. Club president Ely Yakhchouchi also announced the selection of Nadim Murad as the president of the club's board of trustees, emphasizing that Al-Hekmeh has become a comprehensive institution. He noted that Hasbani wished to be relieved of the honorary position due to his numerous commitments. Yakhchouchi stressed that Baqaradoni's appointment was not for any financial support, pointing out that many figures had approached the club to obtain this honorary position, but the club's management decided to grant this title to one of its own, meaning Baqaradoni. At the end of the conference, the "Green" club announced the awarding of the Golden Wisdom Medal to Hasbani, marking the first time such a medal is awarded to an individual in the club's history.
