White House: "Wagner" is not currently fighting in Ukraine

White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan revealed at the Aspen Security Conference today that "the Russian private military group Wagner is not currently fighting in Ukraine." The group's leader appeared in a video on Wednesday stating that "Wagner fighters will no longer continue their participation in the war in Ukraine and ordered them to gather their forces for operations in Africa."
