Two citizens were injured due to an armed tribal clash between individuals from the village of Namliya and others from the village of Tayb al-Fal in the region of Suwar, which is controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces in northern Deir Ezzor. The conflict arose from a dispute between the two parties over an oil well. According to activists from the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, there is a severe state of tension in the village of Tayb al-Fal, with calls from locals for regional elders and concerned parties to intervene to end the fighting.
As a result, the number of conflicts due to revenge, family and tribal clashes, and the chaotic spread of weapons among civilians in areas under the "autonomous administration" has risen to 42 clashes, leading to the deaths of 34 individuals, including a child and two women, and injuries to 58 others, including four women and a child, since the beginning of 2023.
