Erdogan Tweets: "It is Time to Protect Our Nation's Will"

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan tweeted on "Twitter" this Sunday evening, thanking everyone who "worked diligently at the polling stations since the early hours of the morning." He added: "I call on all my brothers to safeguard the ballot boxes until the final results are announced; it is now time to protect our nation's will above our heads until the last moment." The overall voting rate in the second round of the Turkish presidential elections was approximately 84.57%, and the voting rate abroad was 91.31%.
