Title: Security Forces: Arrest of a Drug Dealer in Beirut

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement: "Through monitoring and tracking drug dealers within the capital Beirut with the aim of arresting them, on May 24, 2023, in the Cola area, a patrol from the Information Unit of the Beirut Police was able to apprehend the individual L. H. (born in 1991, Lebanese) in the act while he was promoting drugs in a BMW X5 SUV. Upon searching him and the vehicle, /64/ assorted pills of narcotic substances were found, along with a quantity of cocaine base and cocaine divided into colored and shaped nylon bags. A knife and a monetary sum were also seized. The detainee, along with the confiscated items, has been referred to the relevant authority, and the investigation is ongoing under the supervision of the competent judiciary."
