Turkish aircraft targeted sites belonging to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK), which opposes Ankara, in Duhok Province in the Kurdistan Region of northern Iraq, on Sunday. Kurdish media reported that "Turkish warplanes carried out airstrikes on PKK positions near the Deralok area in the Amadiyah district, north of Duhok Province," noting that "the extent of material and human losses resulting from the bombardment is unknown."
