Wall Street Opens Higher Following Jobs Data

U.S. stock indices started trading higher on Friday after data showed a slowdown in wage growth in May, reinforcing bets that the Federal Reserve will not raise interest rates this month. Investor sentiment was also bolstered after the country avoided defaulting on its debts. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.38% at the open to 33,187.58 points. The S&P 500 gained 0.47% to reach 4,241.01 points. The Nasdaq Composite increased 0.68% to 13,190.48 points at the beginning of trading.
