Putin: Ukraine Launched an Attack, but it Failed

Russian President Vladimir Putin revealed that Ukraine has launched a major attack against the Russian army but failed to achieve its objectives despite intense fighting for at least three days. Putin, speaking to Russian media in Sochi, stated, "We can say that the attack has definitely begun. The proof of this is the use of Ukraine's strategic reserve... Ukrainian forces have not achieved their goals in any sector." He explained that fighting has intensified significantly in the past three days, but "the enemy has not achieved any success" in any of the battles.
