Arrest of Syrians for Belonging to ISIS

A patrol from the Intelligence Directorate in the Bekaa region arrested the Syrian (K.H.) for his activities in funding extremist groups previously found in the outskirts of the town of Arsal, particularly ISIS, and for his communication with prominent leaders of the organization. Additionally, the army arrested the Syrian (M.A.) in the southern region, who entered Lebanon illegally in 2017 for belonging to ISIS and pledging allegiance to it, as well as for undergoing legal, military, and security training.
