United Nations Confirms Inability to Resolve Grain Agreement Complaints

The Russian news agency "TASS" reported today that the Russian Foreign Ministry stated that "the United Nations has confirmed its inability to address some of Russia's fundamental complaints related to the Black Sea grain export agreement." The ministry pointed out that "the international organization is particularly unable to ensure the resumption of ammonia exports via a pipeline from Russia, reestablish the Russian Agricultural Bank's connection to the SWIFT payment system, or guarantee Russia's supply of spare parts for agricultural machinery."
