The Norwegian oil company "DNO" announced today, Thursday, that it has canceled its production forecasts for the Kurdistan Region of Iraq following a halt in exports since March. This stoppage has forced the company to cease production. Turkey halted the pumping of 450,000 barrels per day of Iraqi crude through the Iraqi-Turkish pipeline from the Fishkabour border area to the Turkish port of Ceyhan on March 25, after the International Chamber of Commerce based in Paris issued a ruling in an arbitration case in favor of Iraq. Four days later, DNO announced it would stop production from the Tawke and Peshkabir fields, which produced 107,000 barrels per day in 2022.
