Chinese customs data showed that exports to North Korea fell by 6.6 percent last month compared to May, although they remained eight times higher than they were in June 2022, when the isolated country recorded tens of thousands of COVID-19 cases daily and closed its borders. The data released today, Thursday, indicated that "shipments from the world's second-largest economy to North Korea totaled $154.7 million last month."
