The media office of the Minister of Social Affairs in the caretaker government, Hector Hajj, clarified that "after a delay in the payment process for beneficiaries of the 'Aman' program, we confirm that the process of sending text messages will begin tomorrow, Thursday, and will continue for three days, covering 93,232 Lebanese families. The total amount to be transferred under the Aman program is 20 million dollars." He added in a statement, "As for the national program to support the poorest families, the process of transferring assistance will begin on June 12 and will continue until the 16th, covering 66,632 Lebanese families. The total amount to be transferred is 8.5 million dollars."
