After the lengthy debate between Lebanese artist Ziad Bourji and Lebanese singer Elissa regarding the song "Ana W Bas," which Elissa released earlier, the Lebanese judiciary issued its final ruling in this case.
The ruling was in her favor, and she won the lawsuit she filed against Bourji and poet Ahmad Madi. She tweeted on her official Twitter account: "The Lebanese judiciary is still in good hands with honest and honorable judges, the truth has emerged, 'Ana W Bas' is 'Eli W Bas'!!"
Elissa continued: "A big thank you to my legal representative, lawyer Mark Habka, who believed in my case and my right, challenged the falsehood and restored my rights," concluding her tweet with, "Only the truth prevails."
It is worth mentioning that the song "Ana W Bas" is written by poet Ahmad Madi and composed by Ziad Bourji.
