She added that in the past day, Ukrainian forces advanced between 200 and 500 meters in various areas near the heavily damaged city of Bakhmut in the east, and between 300 and 350 meters towards the city of Zaporizhia in the southeast.
Maliar confirmed that "our forces are moving in the face of intense fighting and the enemy's air and artillery superiority." She mentioned on Ukrainian television that "the number of enemy casualties in the eastern "Khortytsia" sector over the past week was 8.73 times greater than Ukrainian losses, with a ratio of 5.3 times in the "Tavria" sector. From now on, we are both defending and attacking in different directions, and there is a very dangerous confrontation."
