A senior official at the U.S. Department of Defense (Pentagon) revealed today that Ukraine has received cluster munitions sent by the United States. Washington announced on July 7 that it would send cluster munitions to Kyiv as part of a security package worth $800 million aimed at ensuring that Russian forces cannot halt a Ukrainian counteroffensive.
