Video: Release of Depositor Omar Al-Aawar After Recovering His Full Deposit

The Depositors' Cry Association announced today, Monday, via its official Twitter account, the release of depositor Omar Al-Aawar from the Bashoura police station, following his detention after he recovered his entire deposit from "Bank of Egypt and Lebanon," which amounted to $6,500. The association stated that life is for the strong, not the weak, and it will support all depositors in recovering their funds. Omar Al-Aawar had previously stormed the "Bank of Egypt and Lebanon" in Beirut and held branch manager Jad Bou Shadeed hostage, demanding the release of his full deposit.
