The Lebanese national football team failed to achieve its first victory under the leadership of Serbian coach Aleksandar Ilic, losing to the host team from Oman 0 - 2 (first half 0 - 1) in an international friendly match held this evening at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in the Omani capital, Muscat.
This match was part of Lebanon's preparations for the upcoming International Confederations Cup organized by the All India Football Federation from June 10 to 20 in India. A considerable number of Lebanese expatriates in Oman attended the match, as the "Cedars" team also prepares to participate in the Asian Cup finals, which will be hosted in Qatar next year.
