The "Syrian Observatory" reported that 3 members of the Syrian army were killed and 10 others were injured, some with varying degrees of severity, due to an explosion of an explosive device targeting a military dormitory bus near the Jabriya checkpoint on the Homs-Salamiyah road, in the Mashrafah area northeast of Homs. It was noted that "the number of casualties is expected to rise due to the presence of wounded individuals in critical condition."
