A senior Ukrainian source announced today, Tuesday, that talks are scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, regarding a U.N.-brokered agreement that allows for the safe export of Ukrainian grain through Black Sea ports, with all parties involved in the negotiations. In a statement to Reuters, the source, who requested anonymity, said, "The talks are scheduled for tomorrow with the participation of all parties... I hope there will be results."
In a post on the embassy's Telegram account, Andrey Lideniev, an advisor at the Russian Embassy in the United States, indicated that no progress has been made in removing obstacles to the export of Russian grain and fertilizers. Lideniev stated that this crisis stems from the "sanctions strategy" imposed by the United States and its allies against Moscow, which includes restrictions on payments, logistics, and insurance sectors.
