The official UAE news agency (WAM) reported on Sunday that the UAE has pledged $100 million to support "development projects in countries affected by the phenomenon of irregular migration." The agency stated that this commitment was made by UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan during his participation in an international conference in Rome on the same day.
