Alphabet has described its popular program "Google Docs" as a "magic wand" that can create marketing blogs, training plans, and other texts, then refine its style according to user feedback, as confirmed by a company official. Alphabet stated that its new AI tool will be capable of summarizing email topics in the "Gmail" service, crafting slide presentations, personalizing customer communication, and taking meeting notes as part of its update to "Google Workspace," a suite of products used by billions of users on both free and paid accounts.
At the same time, Microsoft announced an event regarding "innovation in generative artificial intelligence," where it is expected to unveil its competing document processor, "Word." Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian said, "This next phase is where we provide human elements with support from a collaborative AI tool that operates in real time." Google also revealed a set of generative AI tools for cloud computing customers, such as the language model (PALM), one of its most powerful language models that generates text resembling human writing. Google affirmed that customers can customize its AI model using their own data while retaining ownership of the information and benefits.
