Title: Residents of Minieh Call for an End to Fishing with Explosives

Residents of the Minieh area have called on the Lebanese state, the Lebanese Coast Guard, relevant authorities, and local representatives to "put an end to fishing activities by fishermen who use explosives to catch fish in the sea, particularly off the shores of Minieh." They noted that "these blasting activities have affected nearby homes, which have suffered cracks due to the daily use of dynamite by fishermen in the sea." Several fishermen in Minieh also pointed out that "there are no types of fish left due to some of them using explosives."
