Ghosn: "Nissan" and "Renault" Are Trying to Collaborate

Former CEO of Nissan Motor Company, Carlos Ghosn, confirmed today, Tuesday, that the Japanese company and Renault are attempting to collaborate on a limited scale with a new agreement aimed at restructuring their long-standing alliance. Nissan and Renault are holding discussions regarding a final agreement to reform their alliance, following the announcement in January that the deal will see Renault reduce its stake in Nissan to 15% from about 43%, placing the two companies on equal footing.
