A senior official in the Ukrainian presidency announced today, Sunday, that 130 Ukrainian prisoners have been released and returned home in a "large prisoner exchange on the occasion of Easter." Andriy Yermak, director of the office of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, confirmed via the Telegram app: "The exchange took place in several stages over the past few days." Yermak clarified that among those returning are members of the military, border guards, national guards, sailors, and customs officers. It is not clear how many Russians were returned in exchange. Ukraine announced last Friday that it had recovered the remains of 82 of its soldiers from Russian-controlled territory.
