Two Palestinian Martyrs Shot by Occupation Forces in Jenin Camp

Two young men were martyred, and a third was injured while four others were arrested during the Israeli occupation forces' raid on the city and camp of Jenin early Thursday, according to the Palestinian news agency "Wafa." The agency reported, citing medical sources from Ibn Sina Hospital, the martyrdom of the two young men, Naeem Jamal Al-Zubeidi (27 years old) and Mohammad Ayman Al-Saadi (26 years old), by the occupation's gunfire, with another injured by shrapnel in the face, in stable condition.

A large force from the occupation army stormed the Jenin camp and the Al-Hadaf area, deploying snipers on the rooftops of several houses and buildings, resulting in clashes and violent confrontations. Security sources stated that the occupation forces arrested young men Wassam Fayad and Omar Nasser Taleb after surrounding their homes in the Al-Hadaf area of Jenin. The same sources mentioned that a special Israeli unit infiltrated the Jenin camp and arrested two young men, Khaled Ar’arawi and Ahmad Al-Sous, after chasing them and crashing their motorcycle.

A massive march took place in front of Ibn Sina Hospital, with participants carrying the bodies of the martyrs and marching through the streets of Jenin city and its camp, chanting slogans condemning the occupation's crimes and calling for international protection for our people while emphasizing the need to strengthen national unity.

Additionally, the "Fatah" movement and national and Islamic forces in Jenin announced a general strike today in mourning for the souls of the martyrs and in condemnation of the ongoing crimes of the occupation against our people, urging traders, shop owners, and institutions to comply with the strike. With the martyrdom of Al-Zubeidi and Al-Saadi, the number of martyrs since the beginning of this year (2022) rises to 210, including 158 martyrs in the West Bank and 52 in the Gaza Strip.
