The local governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported late on Saturday that 15 empty freight train cars derailed in the Belgorod region of southern Russia, near the border with Ukraine, without providing additional details. Gladkov stated on the Telegram app, "According to preliminary information, no injuries were reported," noting that the incident occurred near a train station in the Alekseyevsky area.
