A "Renault Megan" vehicle veered off course this morning on the western side of the Safra highway in Kesrouan, leading to its overturning. The driver, a Syrian named Youssef Mohammad H., born in 1990, passed away instantly, while his brother Walid, born in 2003, who was with him, sustained injuries and bruises. Civil defense personnel quickly arrived on the scene to recover the body, along with members of the Jounieh Traffic Detachment from the Internal Security Forces. The incident caused traffic congestion on both sides of the highway.
