In a statement, it was mentioned that "both parties expressed satisfaction with the level of cooperation between the two countries to achieve stability in the global oil market. The call was friendly, constructive, and beneficial. Based on this, an agreement was reached to build links in specific areas of cooperation." Earlier this month, OPEC+ producers unexpectedly announced additional cuts in crude production by about 1.16 million barrels per day.
