Eid al-Adha prayers and sermons were held at Roumieh Prison on the first day of the holiday, under the auspices of the Prisoners and their Families Care Authority affiliated with the Dar Al-Fatwa in the Lebanese Republic. The Secretary of the Authority and religious teacher in the prisons, Sheikh Walid Zahra, spoke in his sermon about the virtues of the holiday, emphasizing "the importance of returning to God." Following the sermon, sweets were distributed to the inmates.
