The "S&P 500" and "Nasdaq" indexes opened higher today, Monday, after recording strong gains last week, as investors await the earnings reports from some major listed companies throughout the week. The "S&P 500" opened up 3.44 points or 0.08 percent to 4508.86 points, while the "Nasdaq" composite rose 36.21 points or 0.26 percent to 14149.92. The "Dow Jones" industrial index, on the other hand, fell 9.29 points or 0.03 percent to 34499.74 points.
