America and Bahrain Sign Strategic Security and Economic Agreement

The United States and Bahrain signed a strategic security and economic agreement on Wednesday, which U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated would expand defense and intelligence cooperation between the two countries. Blinken said before the signing ceremony at the U.S. Department of State, "This agreement will enhance the coordination between our armed forces and integrate our intelligence capabilities, allowing us to better deter and respond to threats as they arise."
