Ukraine Nears Agreement with Insurance Companies to Cover Grain Ships

The Financial Times reported today, Monday, citing Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Economy Oleksandr Gryban, that Ukraine is finalizing a plan with global insurance companies to cover grain ships traveling to and from its Black Sea ports. Gryban told the newspaper that the deal is currently being prepared, adding that discussions are ongoing "between the relevant ministries as well as local banks and international insurance groups, including Lloyd's in London."
