Sheikh Ahmed Al-Tayyib, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, has directed Al-Azhar University to cover the medical expenses of Mahmoud Wahba, an assistant professor at the Faculty of Commerce for Boys at Al-Azhar University in Cairo. Wahba recently defended his doctoral thesis while receiving treatment in the hospital. A delegation from Al-Azhar University, led by the university's president, Salama Dawood, visited Wahba at his hospital to check on his health, reassure him, and monitor his condition. During the visit, the university president congratulated the researcher on obtaining his PhD in statistics from the Faculty of Commerce, praying for his full recovery and health. He announced that the university would cover all medical expenses until Wahba fully recovers and is discharged from the hospital, God willing.
