Israel Allocates $120 Billion for Infrastructure Development

The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced today, Sunday, that Israel will invest 433 billion shekels (120.93 billion dollars) in infrastructure development over four years. The government states that the project will increase labor productivity and reduce disparities in the workforce. Yossi Shelly, the director general of the Prime Minister's office, said that "infrastructure development is one of the most important key drivers for economic growth for Israel's economy." Under the plan, the government will invest in the sectors of energy, public transportation, education, healthcare, security, and the environment.
