Egypt's supply investigation agency has seized a large quantity of donkey meat prepared for sale in commercial markets in Giza Governorate.
Details reveal that security forces received information about an individual smuggling over 150 kilograms of slaughtered donkey meat inside the National Circus, intending to sell it in markets and deceive consumers into believing it was beef.
Following extensive investigations and inquiries, authorities were able to identify the suspect and apprehended him in the Agouza area while he was selling the meat to the public for illicit financial gains. He confessed to the crime during interrogation, and an investigation has been initiated under the supervision of the relevant judicial authority.
