The Russian Ministry of Defense reported today, Wednesday, that Russian forces destroyed a stray Ukrainian mine in the southwestern Black Sea. The ministry added that the Russian fleet in the Black Sea discovered the mine floating about 180 kilometers from the Bosphorus Strait. The ministry stated: "By the captain's decision, a Ka-27 helicopter was launched, and its crew destroyed the mine with gunfire."
